Playing D&D virtually just got even easier.
While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has kept most D&D players shut indoors and hosting their weekly sessions (if they are so lucky) on virtual tabletops, the giant of D&D resources, D&D Beyond, has upgraded to be more digitally friendly as well.

The company announced early last week that it has been in the process of creating a brand new app that consolidates their previous two offerings of toolsets, character sheets, virtual dice rollers, and more.
“The combination of our toolset with the power to reference your D&D content makes it the perfect mobile solution for every D&D player — whether you’re completely new, a veteran campaigner, or a Dungeon Master,” an April 6 post from the company states.
“With features ranging from the guided character creator, to spell management, to the ability to easily search and bookmark your books on or offline, the app truly places the D&D Toolset in the palm of your hand.”
Those who are currently using the DDB Reader App will need to download their player app and wait for the newest app update to become available.
The new app also includes mobile character creation, online and offline character sheets, rollable digital dice sets, as well as health, ability, and inventory management.
Dungeon Masters will be able to use the app to access adventures and sourcebooks, spells, feats, monsters, and other D&D content — even when offline thanks to the new bookmark feature.
The app can be found for free for iOS and Android.
