WotC has officially released their latest hardcover, Candlekeep Mysteries

The doors of Candlekeep have officially opened.

Wizards of the Coast have released their latest hardcover module, Candlekeep Mysteries, as of Tuesday, March 16.

The book is a 17 adventure anthology revolving around books found within The Forgotten Realm’s elusive Candlekeep, and brings adventurers from level 1 all the way to level 16.

“Each adventure begins with the discovery of a book, and each book is the key to a door behind which danger and glory await,” the book’s write up states.

“These adventures can be run as one-shot games, plugged into an existing Forgotten Realms campaign, or adapted for other campaign settings.”

This is great news for DMs who may have taken their party through a starter module, like Lost Mines of Phandelver or Dragon of Icespire Peak, and are now looking for some published content to use without committing to a full module.

This book will be particularly handy for DMs who often run one-shot adventures for newer players.

All 17 adventures are expected to feature a mystery to be solved.

“Historians, sages, and others who crave knowledge flock to the library fortress of Candlekeep to peruse its vast collection of books, scribbled into which are the answers to the mysteries that bedevil them,” states the module’s preview.

“Many of these books contain their own mysteries — each one a doorway to adventure. Will your players dare to cross that threshold?”

The book includes a poster map of Candlekeep fortress and information about those who reside within its halls.

Those opting for the alternative cover will be treated to this red and gold gem:
