These stunning light up dice launched on Kickstarter today (VIDEO)

Forget plastic, metal, or glass — these are the dice that will finally trump the rest of the table’s dice collections.

Pixels, an electronic dice company, launched a Kickstarter for their light up dice on Tuesday, March 9, and backers have been flooding in ever since.

The company’s original goal had been roughly $250,000US. As of 10 am PST, they’ve already reached $835,000US (and growing).

It’s easy to see why.

The light up dice don’t just offer some cool sparkles — they can actually tell what number the die lands on and give it a flash of light accordingly.

But this video will probably explain the spectacle far better than we ever could:

If you’re hoping to get your hands on one of the Pixel’s first electronic dice, you’re not too late, either.

Even though 4,566 people have already backed the project, the Kickstarter has not yet sold out of most of its tiers, with the exception of the $945 top tier that came with 40 dice and five To-Go cases.

One single d20 (with a charging case) will run backers $35US, while $199US will be what it takes to grab a full set of light up dice — which also comes with a To-Go case.

Day 1 deals end at 9 pm PST today, however, so if you’re hoping for a deal you may want to get onto Kickstart quick.

All backers can expect to receive their new dice around March of 2022, with shipping going to anywhere in the world.

The Kickstarter page also notes that all dice are balanced, waterproof, and incredibly strong.
