Check out these 3 D&D quizzes for class, race, knowledge, and stats

Want to start playing D&D but have no idea what kind of character to play?

Well, lucky for you, there is no shortage of D&D Character Creation options out there, but we think one of the most fun options (or at least the best for procrastination) is through quizzes!

So we went and tracked down a few D&D quizzes that will find you your class and race, as well as what your stats would be and your knowledge of D&D.

Also, a handy note: We’ve gone ahead and taken all these quizzes ourselves to make sure that you don’t need to punch in your email account or credit card information or anything at the end to see the results, they just show up! There’s nothing worse than wasting time doing an online quiz and the results being locked behind a paywall.

Race and Class Quiz

To start things off is this 140-question quiz that pinpoints your class, alignment, race, level, and ability scores to show exactly what kind of build you’d be working with if your real-life traits were transferred over to the TTRPG.

The entire quiz takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes (there are 140 questions after all), though is relatively simple with all the question being either true or false or multiple choice.

The quiz creators did not hold back, however, delving into questions of morality, religion, class, nature, physical ability, and more.

D&D Knowledge Test

This one’s a bit simpler!

Just 10 easy-to-medium difficulty questions about D&D. It’s not a cakewalk, though — I will admit that I only got 8/10 on my first try, so see if you can best the Dispatcher yourself!

And hey, even if you get 0/10, you’ll still walk away learning a thing or two about your new favourite hobby.

D&D Real Life Stats Calculator

Ever been curious how your own stats stack up against your D&D character’s?

Well, this online quiz will determine your real life stats by asking questions pertaining to those 6 core statistics: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Wisdom, Intelligence, and Charisma, by asking such questions as:

  • Do you perform any sort of strength exercise more than twice a week?
  • When watching a movie or reading a book, are you often able to guess how it will end (e.g. who the killer is in a mystery novel)?
  • Do you quickly and easily become drunk (i.e. do you get drunk after only a few drinks? Say, 3 drinks?)
  • Have you ever had an argument with someone and convinced them to see your point of view?

It’s a pretty interesting way to see how those stats translate to real life situations, and it’s also cool to see your very own stat blocks at the end!
