Fans of Netflix’s Bridgerton may want to grab themseves some D20s, because their lead man will be appearing in the upcoming Dungeons and Dragons movie.
The Hollywood Reporter stated on Tuesday that Regé-Jean Page has landed the lead role in the 2022 D&D movie, and will be performing alongside cast members Chris Pine, Justice Smith, and Michelle Rodriguez, the latter two’s involvement having been announced earlier this month.

Page is best known for his role as the Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett in Bridgerton, but has also been seen in Mortal Engines and Sylvie’s Love.
The Dungeons and Dragons movie’s script has been written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who also worked on Spiderman: Homecoming.
Both men will be directing the movie as well, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
IGN has reported that this latest attempt of bringing Dungeons and Dragons to the big screen (we’re all just going to forget that 2000’s Dungeons and Dragons even happened) will see the film in theatres on May 27, 2022.
